Pointless outing for Jazeman
PETALING JAYA: Malaysia’s Jazeman Jaafar failed to finish among the points in the third leg of the Formula BMW Europe at the Silverstone circuit in England yesterday.
Jazeman only managed seven laps before retiring in Race 1, which was won by Robin Frijns of Josef Kaufmann Racing in 25:09.185.
Jazeman had struggled in qualifying on Saturday and only managed the 13th fastest time of 1:53.298.
Eifelland Racing’s Jazeman, completed Race 2 in 16th spot.
The next round will be staged at Nurburgring circuit and it will be among the support races for the German F1 Grand Prix from July 10-12.
