Jazeman retains 10th spot at German GP
PETALING JAYA: Malaysian driver Jazeman Jaafar held on to a top-10 spot in the overall standings after scoring point finishes in the two fourth round races of the Formula BMW Europe series at Nurburgring circuit in Germany yesterday.
Jazeman completed the 10-lap Race 2 yesterday in ninth place in 26:25.713. He had finished eighth in Race 1 on Saturday in 23:39.135.
The Eifelland Racing team driver now has a total of 55 points for ninth place in the standings.
Eurointernational’s Felipe Nasr, who won Race 2 of the support event for the German F1 Grand Prix, leads the standings on 130 points.
The next two races will be held at Budapest in two weeks’ time.
