Birthday boy Zulfahmi takes historic pole in Moto 3
SEPANG: Zulfahmi Khairuddin made history when he claimed his and Malaysia's first-ever pole position in Moto 3 at the Malaysian Motorcycle Grand Prix on Saturday.
Zulfahmi also turned 21-years-old today.
During the qualifying session, Zulfahmi, a rider for AirAsia-SIC-Ajo, recorded the fastest time of 2'13.885s.
He will be followed by German riders Jonas Folger for Mapfre Aspar and Sandro Cortese from Red Bull KTM Ajo, who recorded times of 2'14.151s and 2'14.599s, respectively.
