KL Ruby down Singapore to continue winning run
SEGAMAT: KL Ruby continued their winning ways in the Malaysian National Basketball League (MNBL) women’s event by crushing the Singapore national team 79-35 yesterday.
Ruby. who were winless in the first leg, have certainly turned their fortunes around following the arrival of new Filipino import Allana Lim two days ago.
They were so good that they limited the Singaporeans to just single digit scores in the first two quarters and were leading 39-14 by half time.
They continued to pile on the pressure and a further 20 points each in the third and fourth quarter saw them close the gap on league leaders KL Bina Puri.
