Fun for golf fans at CIMB Classic
PETALING JAYA: Spectators attending the US$6.1mil CIMB Classic at Mines Resort and Golf Club this week are set to have a thrilling experience over the four-day event.
Not only do they get to watch Tiger Woods, Nick Watney, Jason Dufner, Bo Van Pelt and Ben Crane strut their stuff on the course, spectators will also be entertained by the various activities that are happening off the course.
If you don’t fancy walking to the where the action is, take a walk at the Public Village.
The Public Village will offer spectators the best facilities possible. There is much to do, see and shop at the various sponsors’ tents including Sapura Group, Malaysia Airlines, BMW, Astro, Maxis, MST as well as CIMB. As like previous years, title sponsor CIMB has put up an interactive zone that includes a golf simulator.
There is also an exhibition at the welcome pavilion. Ticket prices are RM90 for the first two rounds (Thursday and Friday) while it is RM140 for the last two rounds (Saturday and Sunday).
The tournament will feature 30 players from the PGA TOUR and the top 10 available players from the Asian Tour’s Order of Merit. There will be no halfway cut for the event and as such all golfers will play all four days.
