Top brass of SAM returned unchallenged
KUALA LUMPUR: The top brass of the Sportswriters Association of Malaysia (SAM) were returned unchallenged at the biennial general meeting at Wisma OCM yesterday.
Ahmad Khawari Isa of Astro Arena was retained as president for another two-year term together with his deputy Asan Ahmad of Kosmo. Incumbent vice-presidents Eric Samuel of The Star and Norismadi Abdul Manap of RTM were also returned unopposed while veteran Mohd Ali Majid of Berita Harian and Astro Arena’s Faizal Jamal will serve as treasurer and secretary respectively for another term.
