Monaco and Tipsarevic in Stuttgart showdown
STUTTGART (Germany): Top seeded Serb and world number eight Janko Tipsarevic beat Thomaz Bellucci of Brazil 6-4, 2-6, 6-4 to reach the final of the ATP tournament in Stuttgart on Saturday.
Tipsarevic now faces Argentine second seed Juan Monaco, who saw off world number 87 Guillermo Garcia-Lopez of Spain 6-3, 3-6, 7-5.
Monaco, who leads Tipsarevic 2-1 in their career head-to-heads to date, is chasing his third title of the season after trophies in Vina del Mar (Chile) and at Houston. — AFP
