THE scandalous story about the private life of Singaporean actor Aliff Aziz remains a hot topic, with Kosmo! Ahad and Metro Ahad putting it on their front pages.

Kosmo! Ahad interviewed his girlfriend Sarah Yasmine, who declared that she would stand by him amid reports about his fallout with his estranged wife and his arrest in March for close proximity with another woman in Kuala Lumpur.

Sarah, who is a Singaporean single mother with two children, said she “could not stand it” when netizens were critical of Aliff over the close proximity case while the other woman was spared.

“I just want Aliff to prove to the public that he is innocent,” she added.

Two days after Aliff, 33, was nabbed by religious authorities over the close proximity case, his wife, Malaysian singer-actress Bella Astillah filed for a divorce.

This was the second time she had sought a divorce.

The couple, who have two children, went their separate ways in 2019. However, they reconciled in 2020.

Metro Ahad in its report noted that Sarah became much talked about since she publicly confessed to being Aliff’s lover.
