DBKL to install CCTVs to deter vandalism at pedestrian bridges


PEDESTRIAN bridges equipped with lifts will be installed with closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras to deter thieves, vagrants and addicts from vandalising the facilites.

Mayor Datuk Ahmad Phesal Talib said Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) was studying the proposal to install CCTV cameras which will be linked to police headquarters.
