Fire guts Tutong workshop

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN (Borneo Bulletin/Asia News Network): A fire gutted a car air conditioning workshop in Kampong Petani, Tutong District on Thursday (Jan 5).

No injuries were reported as all employees were promptly evacuated to safety.

Thirteen firefighters from Tutong Fire Station and Bukit Beruang Fire Station were dispatched to the scene. They arrived to find the premises ablaze and got the fire under control within 10 minutes.

The cause of the fire and estimated losses are currently under investigation.
