Lucky quiz winners receive cash prizes from Tourism Malaysia (Brunei) Office

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: The winners of the Explore Malaysia Media Permata IG Reel Quiz received their prizes Friday (Nov 29) during a ceremony held at the Tourism Malaysia (Brunei) Office.

The quiz, open to all Bruneians and residents in the country, took place from November 13 to 16.

Participants watched videos posted on Media Permata’s YouTube channel and were tested on their knowledge of tourist spots in Ipoh and Penang.

Abidah Jakut won the quiz on the first day, followed by Mashuara Ali on the second day and Nur Fatin Farhanah Mohd Kamil on the third day.

Ambrin Nayan and Hajibah Abdullah were co-winners on the fourth day. Each winner received a cash prize of BND200.

Brunei Press Sdn Bhd General Manager Anafiah Omar and Tourism Malaysia Brunei Director Hazrina Azman presented the prizes to the winners. Brunei Press Senior Manager (Finance and Operations) Suzie Houng was also present.

One of the winners, Nur Fatin Farhanah, shared in an interview, “I didn’t expect that I could win. I am really happy. I wanted to join this quiz because of the attractive prize and I wanted to try my luck if I can really win the prize.”

Asked about her opinion on the main attractions in Malaysia, she said, “The main attractions are the beautiful sceneries and the vast varieties of delicious food. Therefore, lakastah ke Malaysia.”

The winning entries were selected by representatives from Brunei Press and Tourism Malaysia Brunei.
