KUALA LUMPUR: Renowned Malaysia’s singer-songwriter-producer trio, KRU, continues their musical journey with the release of “One More Time”, the second singlefrom their upcoming studio album “Kaset”.

Delivered with heartfelt emotion, this track showcases the vocal maturity of Norman, Yusry, and Edry.

A Signature R&B Ballad With Timeless Appeal Penned and produced entirely by KRU, "One More Time" stays true to the group’s signature 90s R&B DNA while resonating with current listeners.

The heartfelt lyrics explore the painful heartbreak of an individual who, once again, faces failure in love, grappling with bittersweet emotions upon seeing their former partner find happiness with someone else.

Cutting-Edge AI In Music Videos

Continuing to push creative boundaries, KRU has integrated AI (Artificial Intelligence) to create Digital Twins for their “One More Time” music video (MV). Fans will witness a mesmerizing visual journey showcasing the trio’s transformation through past, present, and future eras.

This unique use of AI technology enhances the emotional storytelling of the song, delivering an unforgettable MV experience.

Industry Acclaim For Innovation

Kenny Ong, Managing Director of Sony Music Entertainment Malaysia, commended KRU’s innovative approach: “KRU epitomizes versatility, excelling not only in their music but also in adopting cutting-edge technology to elevate storytelling.

"We believe the MV for ‘One More Time’ will deeply resonate with audiences, and the song itself is destined to become a timeless classic that continues to inspire future generations.”

Following The Success Of "Voodoo"

The first single from "Kaset", "Voodoo", has garnered widespread acclaim both locally and internationally, capturing hearts in Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, Indonesia, the United Kingdom, and also the United States.

Its MV achieved over 1.2 million views on YouTube within a short period, cementing KRU’s appeal to a new generation of fans.

Get Set for a Super Concert

The magnitude of the empire and influence that KRU, or Kumpulan Rap Unggul, has had—and continues to hold—spans across generations and music fans since its inception in 1992.

This has also solidified KRU’s place as a legendary trio in the local music scene, as its plan to hold Konsert GenKRU this coming May 3, was extended to two days due to overwhelming demand.

Tickets for the first day of the concert (May 3) sold out in just one hour, while tickets for the second day (May 4) were completely gone in only 45 minutes.

To meet fans’ requests, the organiser, together with KRU members Datuk Norman, Datuk Yusry, and Edry, unanimously decided to add another day, making Konsert GenKRU a three-day event on May 10, 2025.

The GenKRU Concert at Axiata Arena will mark KRU's first major performance after six years.

Tickets, priced between RM258 and RM588, are available at www.ticket2u.com.my/kru3 on Jan 8 at 3pm.
