Bursa not immune to ' Navinder - like antics'


THE story of Navinder Singh Sarao, the stock trader who has been identified as being responsible for wreaking havoc on the Dow Jones on May 6, 2010 has sparked off a debate.

What Navinder, a 36-year-old trader operating from his modest semi-detached home outside London, did was to sell down the Dow Jones futures index on the Chigaco Merchantile Exchange (CME) by keying in multiple orders simultaneously and at high speed.
