KUALA LUMPUR: There was little relief for Bursa Malaysia over the morning session as tensions over the latest tariff proposals between the US and China accelerated fears over the future of the global economy.
Hong Kong's Hang Seng led the decline in regional markets as it plunged 2.8% while Japan's Nikkei fell 2%. Shanghai's Composite Index lost 1% while the blue chip CSI300 dropped 1.2%.
