Dufu rides on robust demand for HDD    


KUALA LUMPUR: Hard disk drive (HDD) parts maker Dufu Technology Bhd said earnings soared 60% in the second quarter boosted by strong volume loading by its customers.

Net profit in the three-month ended June 30 rose to RM15.9mil from RM9.9mil a year ago.

Revenue improved to RM88.2mil from RM73.4mil previously, the company said in a filing today.


"The Group is seeing healthy order flow from existing customers, and coupled with confirmed orders from new customers," it said.
