StanChart Malaysia increases rates by 25 bps


KUALA LUMPUR: Standard Chartered Malaysia and Standard Chartered Saadiq are increasing their standardised base rate, base rate and base lending/financing rate to 2.75%, 3.27% and 6.45% respectively effective Nov 10.

The bank, in a statement, said the increase of 25 basis points would also apply to the bank’s retail term deposit and term deposits-i board rate across all tenors.

The new rates reflect the fourth consecutive hike in the overnight policy rate by 25 basis points to 2.75%.
