KUALA LUMPUR: Optimax Holdings Bhd’s subsidiary, Optimax Eye Specialist Centre Sdn Bhd has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Health Ministry to offer eye examinations to primary school students in the Putrajaya area.

In a statement, the eye specialist service provider said Optimax will provide the essential eye examination to the students and supply spectacles to those in need.

This initiative aims to enhance eye healthcare services for students and raise awareness about the importance of eye healthcare.

Optimax chief executive officer Sandy Tan said the initiative reflected its commitment to educating society about eye healthcare and helping the younger generation achieve optimal vision.

“In today’s digital era, lifestyle factors have increasingly impacted children’s eyesight, making it crucial for them to understand the importance of eye healthcare from young. Through this collaboration, we are not only investing in the health of our future leaders but also contributing to the well-being and development of our community as a whole,” she added.
