Aneka Jaringan returns to the black in 3Q

KUALA LUMPUR: Aneka Jaringan Holdings Bhd returned to the black with a net profit of RM562,000 in the third quarter ended May 31, 2024, as compared to a net loss of RM3.71mil in the same quarter in 2023.

The construction group's revenue was RM41.85mil, slightly higher than revenue of RM41.25mil in the previous corresponding quarter, while earnings per share rose to 0.09 sen from a loss per share of 0.63 sen.

In a statement, the group said the revenue growth effective execution of projects and strategic initiatives, as well as the stable recovery in the construction industry.

Over the nine months period, Aneka Jaringan posted a net profit of RM1.96mil against a net loss of RM13.22mil in the same period in 2023, while revenue rose to RM154.84mil from RM137.07mil in the comparative quarter.

"As we move forward, we remain committed to delivering value to our stakeholders and driving sustainable growth.

"The completion of our projects on schedule is paramount, and we will continue to focus on leveraging our order book of RM231.38 million as of 31 May 2024, ensuring timely delivery and quality execution,” said managing director Pang Tse Fui.
