Savour Yuletide, New Year meals while taking in city skyline


Traditional Roast Whole Turkey with Orange and Cranberry takes pride of place in the Christmas menu.

A MAGICAL holiday season with a view Kuala Lumpur’s skyline await guests at “Starlit Festive Celebration” at Trace Restaurant and Bar.

Up on the 40th floor of Element Kuala Lumpur hotel, patrons can partake of festive buffets on selected days throughout December.

The Festive Lunch Buffet on Saturdays and Sundays is priced at RM138nett per person while the Festive Dinner Buffet on Fridays and Saturdays is at RM168nett per person.

These feature signature grill delights such as Grilled Harissa Marinated Lamb Shoulder, Grilled Chimichurri Boneless Chicken, Grilled Citrus Marinated Fish Fillet and Smoked Barbecue Grilled Minute Steak.

The festive carvery selections offer Slow-Roasted Australian BBQ Beef Short Ribs, Baked Whole Seabass with Parmesan Cream Espelette and Authentic Hyderabadi Lamb Briyani with raita and chutney.

The meal concludes with a variety of desserts, including made-to-order crepes, Mini Berry Pavlova, Carrot Frosting Cake and raspberry panna cotta.

There is also the Christmas Eve Dinner Buffet and New Year Eve Dinner Buffet priced at RM188nett per person, as well as Christmas Lunch Buffet and New Year Lunch Buffet, at RM168nett per person.

The Christmas menus serve Traditional Roast Whole Turkey with Orange and Cranberry as the centrepiece.

Additional premium dishes include Australian BBQ Prime Rib, seafood on ice with fresh oysters, blue swimmer crabs, mussels and prawns, as well as Duo Yule Log Cake and crepes.

The Twinkle Treats Afternoon Tea is perfect for those looking to enjoy an afternoon with stunning city views.

This set features seven sweets and six savoury treats including Green Tea Cheesecake, Cured Salmon and Cream Cheese Roulade as well as Baked Chunky Seafood Pie.

The afternoon tea set is available from 1pm to 5pm daily until Jan 1, priced at RM168nett for two persons.
