Publika Jazz Festival, Malaysia’s largest free jazz festival, which took place recently, showcased many genres of jazz from different eras. The two-day event, conducted on the last Friday and Saturday of August, attracted more than 8,000 visitors this year.

Held annually to celebrate the anniversary of Publika Shopping Gallery in Kuala Lumpur, the jazz festival is already in its sixth edition and has just hosted 120 musicians from all over the world at this year’s mega event.
