Euphoria and Saltburn actor Jacob Elordi is under investigation by Australian police after allegedly assaulting a radio producer.

Elordi, 26, was at a hotel in Sydney on Feb 3 when he was approached by Joshua Fox, a producer for morning program The Kyle & Jackie O Show, according to Australian newspaper Daily Telegraph.

On Sunday’s episode of the show, Fox said that he asked Elordi for some bathwater as a gift for one of the radio hosts, a jokey reference to a provocative scene in Saltburn featuring an obsessive Barry Keoghan.

Elordi purportedly asked Fox to stop filming their interaction and delete the footage before the situation escalated.

Fox said he refused because it was the only evidence the situation had turned a corner.

“I’m backed against this wall. He’s right in my face, and his two boys are now on either side of me,” Fox said. “It’s like a switch went off, and he’s becoming quite aggressive, and I’m feeling intimidated.”

“And then Jacob kind of just flips and he kind of pushes me against the wall and his hands are on my throat,” Fox said on the show.

Police confirmed to Variety that an altercation at a hotel is being investigated.

“Officers attached to Eastern Beaches Police Area Command are investigating after a man was allegedly assaulted outside a hotel in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs,” a statement from NSW Police reads.

“Police were told about 3.30pm on Saturday, Feb 3, 2024, a 32-year-old man was allegedly assaulted by a 26-year-old man. The man did not sustain any injuries. Inquiries into the incident is continuing.” – New York Daily News/Tribune News Service
