CHICKEN traders in Penang are urging Penang Island City Council (MBPP) to reconsider the policy of requiring them to instal chillers at chicken stalls in markets.

They also want the council to withdraw the setting up of a centralised storage and distribution centre as they claimed the move would result in customers not getting clean and fresh dressed birds.
