Tonight, Nicolaz T brings the sounds of Lady Gaga to life with a special unplugged night for the fans. A brand new kid on the block, Dua KL is a live music venue that brings a great selection of talented musicians to the stage for great times after dark. Tonight, it’s a blast from the past with the Strollers getting into the groove from the stage. For the past 11 years, Merdekarya has been at the forefront of promoting the indie scene, playing host to not just household names but also up-and-comers who can jam out with the best.

Tonight, Suehaila is in the house to present a night of original R&B and soul, while tomorrow night, singer-songwriter Jay Ridzwan gets into the groove. Next Friday, original folk rebel Azmyl Yunor is back on stage with more original rebel rock, but this time around he’s a part of Azmul and the Truly Asia, which will also feature KRTKKKH and Pla from Thailand. Next Saturday, get set for a blast from the past, musically, as the Deen’s List jams up some original 1960s vibe rock at the Live Bar. No cover charge but a minimum tip of RM10 for the musicians is expected.

An elegant venue in the heart of the city, Jao Tim absolutely drips with old world charm but also serves up an interesting array of offerings. Now also stepping up as an events space, the outlet gives life to a whole new set of musical offerings that include something for just about everyone.

Tonight, An Honest Mistake teams up with the Amethyst String Quartet for an evening of original rock and pop numbers. Tomorrow night, Sophia Ng takes patrons on a trip back to the 1990s, in the East no less, as she sings the Sandy and Jacky songbooks. On Sunday, showtunes get an airing with Ronnie, Angie Joshua and Yonlynn showcasing everything from the Greatest Showman to Wicked.

Next Tuesday, Myra Lee will be in the house celebrating the vibes of the various pop princesses, while next Thursday, Raphungzel and Nicolaz team up for Table Lamp Concert focused on Disney themes. Next Friday, indie soul, R&B and hip-hop are in the spotlight with the Adil Johan Quartet featuring Leonard Selva and MC Snitch.
