EIGHTY-eight years ago, Hindu workers involved in the construction of the famous Ipoh Railway Station decided to erect their own temple at nearby Persiaran Tun Perak.
Completed in 1919, the temple – known as Arulmigu Maha Ganapathy Aalayam – is today the only one in Ipoh dedicated to Lord Ganesha.
