PEKAN: Eleven state assemblymen were among 182 people who received state awards in conjunction with Sultan Pahang Sultan Ahmad Shah’s 77th birthday at Istana Abu Bakar here on Saturday.
Abdul Rahman Muhamad (Padang Tengku), Ahmad Jaafar (Tahan), Choong Ching Yan (Tanah Rata), Chuah Boon Siong (Mentakab), Hamzah Ibrahim (Guai), Md Rusli Ismail (Tioman), Dr Nasharuddin Zainuddin (Tanjung Lumpur), Dr Ng Keong Chye (Ketari), Pang Tsu Ming (Semambu), Shafik Fauzan Shariff (Inderapura) and Abdul Aziz Mat Kiram (Batu Talam) were conferred the Setia Mahkota Pahang (SMP) award.
