Two locals making a mark in Asia with wine and spirits

WHEN you think of wine and spirits, and the main players in this industry, the common perception is that they come from a Western background. However, at this week’s Power Lunch at Menara Star, Petaling Jaya, I had the pleasure of meeting two Asian successes in this industry — Beam Global Asia managing director Jonathan Chow (based in Singapore) and AsiaEuro managing director Her Soon Seng (now based in China).

Beam Global Asia currently controls 70% of the single-malt market in Malaysia, and starting July 1, Chow and Her are embarking on a new journey together.
