MPSp caused uproar among Indian community after demolishing altar

Sepang Municipal Council (MPSp) came into the limelight this year-end when its enforcement officers demolished a Hindu altar built within the gated compound of a house in Taman Seroja in Bandar Baru Salak Tinggi.

Houseowners Umah Devi and M. Gobikumar were earlier notified by the council that the structure they built — an altar to worship lord Muneeswarar — had violated the council bylaws.
