KUCHING: Datuk Dr Philip Ting has been appointed Honorary Member of the Order of Australia (AM) for his services as Australia's Honorary Consul in Kuching.
The 58-year-old is Australia's longest serving honorary consul, beginning 1989, and has been working with eight Australian high commissioners.
