Jais says it forgot to inform Selangor govt about raid


SHAH ALAM: The Selangor Islamic Religious department (Jais) has told the state government that it had forgot to inform the relevant departments in the Selangor government of its raid, which saw more than 300 copies of the bible carted away from the offices of Bible Society of Malaysia.

After meeting Jais director and the chief of the enforcement team that headed the raiding party, State Executive Councillor for Islamic Affairs, Sallehin Mukyi said the excuse received was that the religious authority had forgot to inform his side and the Mentri Besar’s office of the raid on Thursday morning.
