KUALA LUMPUR: The Sultan of Perak has stressed on the importance of English and how its proficiency would empower young Malaysians to access broader opportunities in the job market and be able to compete globally.
Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah (pic) said while Bahasa Malaysia is upheld as the national language, it must also be accepted that English is the world’s lingua franca.
