KANGAR: Despite lack of sleep, the villagers of Kampung Tok Kepak in Ayer Hitam, in north-west Kedah near the border with Perlis, were still in a joyous mood.
They celebrated all night at the picturesque village surrounded by padi fields but many of them were still talking about how one of their own had gone on to shine on the global stage.
