Man with arthritis conquers KL Tower

KUALA LUMPUR: In the most painful years of his life, Bak Zi Yang (pic) had to depend on a walking stick and struggled to even put one foot in front of the other.

Bak, 33, was diagnosed 12 years ago with ankylosing spondylitis, a chronic, inflammatory arthritis that causes fusion of the spine. However, he refused to let the autoimmune disease bring him down.
