Federal Govt should give more attention to poorer states, says Mukhriz

PETALING JAYA: The Federal Government should give more attention to poorer states such as Kedah as it has done a lot in ensuring the country’s food security by being the country’s rice bowl, says Datuk Seri Mukhriz Mahathir (pic).

Instead of allowing forest cultivation and logging for more state revenue, the Kedah Mentri Besar said the state had insisted on preserving its forests for food security.
