1,128 students begin long-awaited trip home


PUTRAJAYA: A total of 1,128 students from local higher education institutions have started their much anticipated journey back to their hometowns after being stuck in their hostels since the start of the movement control order (MCO).

A batch of 863 students hailing from the central region started their journey to the northern region on Monday night, said Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.
