JOHOR BARU: August is a busy month for retired history teacher Kamdi Kamil, who decorates his house in Jalan Kenangan here with thousands of Jalur Gemilang to celebrate the nation’s 63rd National Day.

For the 71-year-old grandfather, this has been an annual practice since 1985, he said.
