Number of flood evacuees drops in Larut Matang and Selama, Perak


IPOH (Bernama): Perak saw a drop in the number of flood evacuees as at 8am on Thursday (Aug 26) to 193 people from 50 families compared to 241 from 66 families yesterday.

A Perak Disaster Management Committee spokesman said the number of evacuees in Larut Matang and Selama districts dropped to 22 from seven families compared to 70 from 23 families, all housed at a relief centre at Sekolah Kebangsaan Matang.
