Global effort leads to seizure of over RM2mil illegal pharmaceutical products


PETALING JAYA: Unregistered pharmaceutical products worth RM2.5mil have been seized throughout Malaysia in a collective effort between Interpol, local police, Customs and health authorities.

In the operation, named Pangea XV 2022 involving authorities in 94 countries, a total of 2,438 websites selling unregistered pharmaceutical products were also detected.
