Melaka govt's Hari Raya open house a success, says Dr Wee

PETALING JAYA: The Melaka state government's Hari Raya Aidilfitri open house held on Saturday (April 29) at the Malacca International Trade Centre was a success, says Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong.

The Ayer Hitam MP said the open house was graced by Yang di-Pertua Negeri Tun Mohd Ali Rustam, Chief Minister Datuk Seri Ab Rauf Yusoh and Malacca state executive councillors.

"Thousands of Melaka residents came to celebrate the occasion with the state's leaders and it was filled with festive joy," the MCA president said in a Facebook post Saturday (April 29).

Last week, Ab Raub said the state-level Aidilfitri open house can serve as a platform for the public to get to know the state leadership appointed on April 5.
