SIX former schoolmates still enjoy holidaying together after 40 years of friendship, reported Sinar Harian.

One of them, Rosfazila Ramli, 53, said the group had been friends since their secondary school days in Melaka.

“We had lost touch but found each other on Facebook, so we rekindled our friendship after a few reunions,” said the inn owner.“Even though we are in our 50s, age is not a barrier for us to still enjoy fun activities together,” Rosfazila said.

“Our first reunion was in 2010, when we were all 39 years old and our children were still young.” Last year, the group travelled to Indonesia together.

The six ladies enjoyed themselves so much during the said trip that they travelled again this year to Kundasang, Sabah.

Their photos received many comments on social media platform TikTok.

> Actress Sarimah Ibrahim, who is gaining attention with her role in the popular drama Lelaki Itu, said she will continue her career in Malaysia, reported Berita Harian.

Although she is under a London-based agency that manages her career overseas, she is more comfortable in Malaysia and is not planning to move abroad.

“I won’t migrate... I prefer to live in my homeland.

“I am of Malay descent and have been earning a living here for over 20 years.

“I have never thought of settling abroad even if there were job offers,” she said.

Sarimah added that she wants to focus on her acting career locally for now, which has become more active after her role in the drama.

She said she is not choosy with the scripts, though she does prefer quality acting roles.

The drama Lelaki Itu has received over one billion views on social media during its airing on TV3.
