Missing Seremban teen found in Kelantan, say cops

SEREMBAN: A Form Five student reported missing here by her family has been found in Kelantan, says district police chief Asst Comm Mohamad Hatta Che Din.

He said the teenager was found at the family home of a male friend in Kubang Kerian earlier Thursday (Aug 1).

"The girl is fine and has been sent to the Kubang Kerian police station.

"Her family will fetch her from there and bring her home," he said in a statement.

Mohd Hatta said the teenager went missing from her family home in Taman College Heights in Sikamat near here around 6am yesterday (July 31).

Her family lodged a report about an hour later. News of the missing girl also went viral on social media.

The girl's mother said she only realised that her daughter was missing when she went to wake her up for school.

The girl was the second of three siblings.

The mother said she last saw her daughter between midnight and 1am the same day.

She also tried calling her daughter's friends to ask if they knew of her whereabouts but none of them had any knowledge.
