Cops hunting for man believed involved Nilai break-in

NILAI: Police are looking for a 37-year-old man to assist in investigations related to a break-in at a house belonging to a "Tan Sri" at Nilai Impian.

Nilai police chief Supt Abdul Malik Hasim said they wish to contact Julian Said, whose last known address was in Kg Tawadakan, Jalan Kudat, Kota Belud, Sabah.

He said two suspects have been detained, and part of the stolen loot has been recovered.

A police report was lodged on Aug 13 regarding the break-in. The complainant claimed that items worth about RM5,000 were stolen.

Supt Abdul Malik said the thieves gained entry by forcing open the main front grille.

The two suspects were detained on Aug 16. Both had criminal records, and urine tests returned positive for methamphetamine.

A third suspect is involved, and police are now looking for Julian to assist in the investigation.

Anyone with information can contact investigating officer Insp Muhammad Afandi Othman at 019-815 6812 or the nearest police station.
