Lebanon's number of COVID-19 cases exceeds 16,000

BEIRUT, Aug. 29 (Xinhua) -- Lebanon's number of COVID-19 cases increased on Saturday by 662 to 16,275 while the death toll went up by seven to 155, the Health Ministry reported.

Charaf Abou Charaf, head of Lebanese Order of Physicians, announced that beds for COVID-19 patients in Lebanon are limited.
