Crude futures settle higher

NEW YORK, Sept. 27 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices climbed on Friday.

The West Texas Intermediate for November delivery went up 51 cents, or 0.75 percent, to settle at 68.18 U.S. dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for November delivery added 38 cents, or 0.53 percent, to settle at 71.98 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
