Belarus president approves budget for 2025

MINSK, Dec. 13 (Xinhua) -- Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko approved the republican budget for 2025, the press service of the Belarusian leader said on Friday.

The republican budget revenues for 2025 are projected to be 45.8 billion Belarusian rubles.

The budget law was developed based on program documents on the socio-economic development of Belarus, taking into account the current economic situation.

The budget will retain the social focus of expenditures. Wages, pensions, scholarships, benefits, as well as the implementation of state social standards, will be a significant part of expenditures.
