Not bound by clauses

The meaning of a clause may seem clear, but this could change because of legislative provisions or the conduct of one of the parties.

CLAUSES, meaning terms and conditions on the basis of which parties have agreed to enter into a transaction, are always thought to be binding. It is also normal, at the beginning, to feel that what is set out is unambiguous and therefore not going to cause any difficulty.
