KUDOS to “Hotel lifts ban on durian” (The Star, July 2) for going against the “norm” of the fruit being forbidden inside of a hotel.It’s a fact durians are plentiful in both Malaysia and Thailand.
June, July and November are its seasons. The sight of durian lovers squatting along stalls in rural roads is a thing of a past.
