Green delights her heart

I’M a New Zealander and have been living in Malaysia since 1973. I married a Malay man and now have four daughters and six grandchildren. Malaysia has been very much home to me for more than 50 years.

When I first came to Kuala Lumpur in 1969 (my sister had married the Dutch man who started Dutch Baby in Malaysia, now known as Dutch Lady), the city was dirty and Petaling Jaya was a separate town. Traffic was good though – it took only 20 minutes to get to PJ from KL!
