AS a proud alumnus of Universiti Pertanian Malaysia (UPM), I strongly support the proposal by the Agriculture and Food Security Minister Datuk Seri Mohammad Sabu, to revert Universiti Putra Malaysia to its original name: Universiti Pertanian Malaysia.
This is a critical step to address the misperceptions and neglect that have plagued fields related to agriculture.
