Pearly shines in women’s and mixed doubles

PETALING JAYA: If her current performances are anything to go by, national women’s backup doubles shuttler Pearly Tan (pic) could one day be a star in both the women’s and mixed doubles events.

The 19-year-old continued to show her prowess in both events by winning the women’s doubles title with M. Thinaah and finishing runner-up with Chia Wei Jie in the mixed doubles at the India International Challenge on Sunday.
