(Reuters) - Manchester City midfielder Kalvin Phillips will return to their squad for Wednesday's English League Cup game against Chelsea after overcoming a shoulder injury that has kept him out of action since September, manager Pep Guardiola said.
The England international has struggled with injuries since joining City from Leeds United during the close season and had surgery for a recurring shoulder issue to cast doubt over his participation in the Qatar World Cup starting on Nov. 20.
